TL;DR: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable because TradeCraft provides immediate access to automated trading tools. We do make exceptions for technical failures, billing errors, and unauthorized charges.
1. General Policy
TradeCraft by BENED LLC ("we", "us") is a digital subscription service that provides immediate access to automated trading agent tools, strategy analysis, and market data upon payment. Because access is granted instantly and our infrastructure costs are incurred regardless of usage, subscription fees are non-refundable for partial or unused billing periods.
When you cancel your subscription, you retain full access to all features through the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made.

All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.
3. When We Will Issue a Refund
We may issue refunds at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
3.1 Technical Failures
If a platform-wide technical failure prevents you from accessing the Service for more than 72 consecutive hours during a billing period, you may request a prorated refund for the affected days.
- Must be reported within 14 days of the outage
- Does not apply to scheduled maintenance (announced in advance)
- Does not apply to issues with third-party services (Alpaca, market data providers)
3.2 Unauthorized Charges
If you believe your payment method was charged without your authorization:
- Report the charge to billing@bened.works within 30 days
- We will investigate and, if confirmed unauthorized, issue a full refund
- We may require identity verification before processing
3.3 Billing Errors
If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charges, wrong amount, charged after cancellation), we will issue a full correction refund. No time limit on reporting billing errors, though we encourage prompt reporting.
4. When We Will NOT Issue a Refund
- Unused time: If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access through the end of the period but are not refunded for remaining days
- Dissatisfaction with results: Trading involves risk. Poor trading performance is not grounds for a refund (see our Risk Disclosure)
- Forgot to cancel: You are responsible for managing your subscription. We send renewal receipts via email.
- Downgrade difference: If you downgrade from a higher tier to a lower tier, the change takes effect next billing cycle. No refund for the price difference during the current cycle.
- Account suspension for violations: If your account is suspended for violating our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- Active trading agents will honor their next exit signal and then pause โ no positions are force-liquidated
- No new agents can be created after the subscription expires
- Your account, trading history, and performance data are preserved indefinitely
- You can resubscribe at any time to reactivate your account
6. Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails:
- We retry up to 3 times over 7 days
- You receive an email notification for each failed attempt
- If all retries fail, your subscription is marked past due
- Trading agents enter exit-only mode (they close positions on the next exit signal, then pause)
- Your data is preserved. A successful payment reactivates your subscription immediately.
7. How to Request a Refund
Please include:
- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the charge in question
- The reason for your refund request
- Any supporting details (screenshots, error messages, etc.)
Response time: We review all refund requests within 5 business days and will notify you of the outcome by email.
Processing time: Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5โ10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback (dispute) with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution
- Active trading agents will be paused
- We will respond to the chargeback with relevant transaction records
- If the chargeback is resolved in our favor, you may be responsible for any chargeback fees
